Sana'a — The Computer Center for Training and Systems at the University of Science and Technology (UST) concluded on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, a closing event for training course No. (70) – First Group – of the International Computer Driving License (ICDL) program, cohort “Log in Screen, Log out to Life”.
During the closing ceremony, the leadership of the Centers and the Female Students Branch praised the level of excellence shown by the trainees through their final projects and closing presentations, affirming the importance of these programs in refining digital skills and enhancing the academic and professional readiness of the university’s female students to keep pace with labor market requirements.
The attendees also expressed their appreciation for the efforts made by the Center’s Administration and the Trainer in making the program a success, noting UST’s continued leading role in the field of qualitative training and providing accredited programs that contribute to building the digital capacities of students.
This program comes within the efforts of the Computer Center for Training and Systems to offer a package of qualitative training programs internationally accredited, aimed at developing technical skills among students and the community.
The closing ceremony was attended by Ms. Fatima Haidar, Assistant Secretary-General for Female Students Branch Affairs; Mr. Mohammed Ali Mashni, Director of the Consultative and Developmental Centers Administration; Mr. Khaled Mohammed Hanzala, former Director of the Computer Center; Mr. Amin Hussein Al-Hadma, Director of the Computer Center; and a number of the Computer Center’s staff.
