Branch Vision

The Branch strives to align with the University’s vision of becoming one of the world’s leading universities.

The University Branch seeks to provide distinguished educational services that equip students with the knowledge and skills required to meet the needs of development and the labor market. It also aims to contribute to community development by providing research, consultancy, training, and continuing education programs through highly qualified academic and administrative staff, a stimulating learning environment, advanced academic programs, and expanded local partnerships, in accordance with comprehensive quality standards, transparency, and professional ethics.

Branch Objectives

To equip students with the knowledge and skills required in various academic disciplines.
To contribute to supporting theoretical and applied scientific research in various fields.
To align educational outcomes with development requirements and the needs of the labor market.
To provide the necessary infrastructure to support the educational process, student services, and activities.
To expand partnerships and develop relationships with universities.
To strengthen relationships with educational institutions and organizations that support education.
To enhance our role in serving the community by providing consultancy and training programs in various areas of development.

Dear students, colleagues and staff members of the University Branch,
and esteemed visitors to our website,

It gives me great pleasure to warmly welcome you to the Taiz Governorate Branch of the University of Science and Technology, Yemen’s first and largest private university. The University is regarded as a beacon of knowledge and education at the national level and has set for itself the ambitious goal of achieving regional leadership and global excellence.

Over the course of a quarter of a century, this Branch has graduated successive generations of degree holders in a wide range of disciplines, including medical, technical, administrative, and humanities fields. Many of our graduates have held, and continue to hold, distinguished positions in private and governmental institutions and companies, both within Yemen and abroad. They contribute to serving their communities through the knowledge and skills they acquired during their years of study. These achievements also present us with many challenges that inspire us to continue our journey of educational development and advancement with determination and perseverance, while constantly seeking new ways to sustain and enhance our academic contributions.

I am also pleased to invite our students and all interested visitors to explore the various sections of the University and Branch websites, which contain comprehensive data and information about the UST’s stages of development, achievements, plans, infrastructure, various academic programs, and its future vision for modernization and development.

I extend my sincere gratitude to the faculty members of the UST Branch. They represent the finest educators, the intellectual strength of the nation, and its hope for the future, carrying out their responsibilities with dedication and competence. My thanks also go to everyone who has contributed to delivering the message of knowledge and education to every student who seeks it.
