العربية Sana’a – Amid an impressive turnout of students on the first day of classes, the Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at the University of Science and Technology (UST) inaugurated the first semester of the 1447 AH / 2025–2026 academic year on Saturday, 1 Muharram 1447 AH, corresponding to June 28, 2025 AD, in accordance with the official academic calendar approved by the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Scientific Research in Sana’a.
High levels of commitment and seriousness were observed among both students and faculty members. During the opening, the Dean urged the students to demonstrate diligence and perseverance in their academic pursuits and to adhere strictly to lecture schedules.
Furthermore, students were encouraged to register their courses through the student electronic portal on the university system during the first two weeks of the semester. The Dean concluded by wishing the faculty’s staff and students a distinguished and successful academic year.
