Sana’a- The Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at the University of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Bilal Al-Fahيدي, accompanied by Dr. Jawad Al-Hammadi, Head of the Graphic Design Program, inaugurated the “Sarmad” typography exhibition, which showcases the creative outputs of third-level female students at the Female Branch.

Supervised by Ms. Balqis Al-Hada, the exhibition focused on the “Geometric Kufic Script”—one of the oldest Arabic scripts—highlighting the fluidity of its letters and its contemporary artistic applications. The exhibition also aimed to spotlight the typography course, which specializes in letter design and aesthetic arrangement to meet modern design requirements.

The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Waleed Shaher, Head of the Information Technology Department; Dr. Sadiq Al-Tawil, Head of the Information Systems Department; and Ms. Fatima Haidar, Secretary-General of the University for the Female Branch, alongside several faculty members who praised the high level of organization and the artistic content of the exhibition.
