Sana’a- Amid an atmosphere of joy and happiness of achievement and reaping the fruits, on Saturday, January 21, 2023, a ceremony was held to honor a number of graduates of medical diplomas (Midwifery and Obstetrics, Physician Assistant, General Nursing) at the Center of Medical Education and Training (CMET) at the University of Science and Technology (UST).
At the honoring ceremony, which was held in the Grand Taj Hall in the capital Sana’a under the slogan “Our Imprint is an Achievement” and attended by a large gathering of relatives and friends of the graduates, the Director of CMET, Mr. Mohammed Al-Hatheq, delivered a speech in which he conveyed at the outset the congratulations and blessings of the University Presidency to the graduates and their families, and their wishes for success and prosperity in their professional lives.
In his speech, Al-Hatheq called on the graduates to continue education and self-qualification to acquire more skills and practical experience and to raise their scientific and practical level.
He emphasized the importance of these medical assistant diplomas in contributing to enhancing the performance of the health sector and supplying it with qualified cadres who will contribute to helping patients, alleviating their suffering, caring for the health of mothers, children, and newborns, reducing their mortality, and limiting the exacerbation of diseases and the spread of epidemics.
Al-Hatheq pointed to the efforts exerted by CMET in providing the country with many qualified cadres in the field of medical assistant specialties. These efforts were crowned with the Center obtaining first place at the level of the capital’s secretariat according to the evaluation of the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training for its excellence in training and continuing education.
Al-Hatheq thanked all those who cooperated in making the ceremony successful, including artistic teams, event organizers, media professionals, and others.
The ceremony was attended by the Director of the Consultancy and Development Center, Mr. Abdulmajeed Al-Adlani, and a number of affiliates of CMET.
