Sana'a — The Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Science and Technology, in cooperation with the Scientific Club at the University, organized a free training course for students of the Faculty of Dentistry, presented by trainer Dr. Hussam Al-Radi, titled “Digital Smile Design (DSD),” within the framework of UST’s efforts to enhance students’ scientific and clinical skills and keep pace with modern developments in the field of dentistry.
The course, held under the patronage of the University President, addressed a number of scientific and applied axes specialized in Digital Smile Design, including the basics and standards of modern DSD, requirements for analyzing smile elements, as well as professional Dental Photography techniques.
The course also included over two days a direct practical aspect (Live Demo & Hands-on), giving students the opportunity to learn about practical applications of Digital Smile Design techniques and link theoretical knowledge with modern clinical applications.
This course comes within the scientific and training activities carried out by the Faculty of Dentistry in cooperation with the Scientific Club, aiming to develop students’ capabilities and provide them with applied knowledge and skills that contribute to developing their academic and clinical performance.
The course witnessed the participation of a number of students from the Faculty of Dentistry, with interest and interaction with the scientific axes and practical applications included in the training program.
At the conclusion of the course, trainer Dr. Hussam Al-Radi was honored, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ulfat Al-Bahri, the Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Mr. Abdul Majeed Al-Adlani, and his deputy, Mr. Abduljabbar Al-Muayyad.
