Sana’a — The Excellence Program at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Science and Technology (UST) — Main Branch, organized a training course entitled “Medications in Dental Clinic” for internship students and dentistry graduates, presented by the distinguished trainer and doctor, Dr. Mohammed Al-Dawla.

This training course is part of the activities of the Excellence Program for the academic year 1446 AH / 2025 AD.

Held in the hall of the University of Science and Technology Hospital and attended by hundreds of internship students, Faculty of Dentistry graduates, and participants from other universities, the course covered a range of crucial topics in the field of dentistry. These included the proper use of medications in dentistry, prominent drugs used in dental clinics such as antimicrobial agents and painkillers, and the key precautions a dentist must avoid when prescribing medications to dental patients.

The course also discussed various dental cases, focusing on the pharmacological management of emergency cases, as well as the pharmacological and medical management of patients with special medical conditions.

At the conclusion of the course, the trainer was honored in the presence of Dr. Amani Al-Shaarani, Coordinator of the Excellence Program at the Faculty of Dentistry; Dr. Mohammed Al-Haziq, Director of the Medical Education and Training Center; and Dr. Fawaz Al-Daais, Secretary of the Faculty of Dentistry.
