1. إعداد أطباء أسنان على مستوى عال من المعرفة والمهارات العملية في مختلف مجالات علوم طب الأسنان.
2.  تعزيز معارف ومهارات الطلبة التي تلبي متطلبات المجتمع المحلي وسوق العمل الإقليمي.
3.  إكساب الطالب المهارات الأساسية للمساهمة في البحث العلمي في مختلف مجالات علوم طب الأسنان. 
4.  تزويد المجتمع بمختلف خدمات رعاية صحة الفم والأسنان واكتساب الخريج المهارات اللازمة للتعامل السوي مع المرضى والزملاء في مجال طب الأسنان. 

Program Objectives:

1- Prepare dentists with a high level of knowledge and practical skills in the various fields of dental sciences.

2- Enhance student knowledge and skills that meet the requirements of the local and regional labor market.

3- Acquire students with the basic skills for contribution to scientific research in the various fields of dental sciences. 

4- Provide the community with various oral and dental health care services and acquire the graduate necessary skills to deal with patients and colleagues in the dental field at the same time. 

1. ممارس طب الأسنان: إجراء ممارسة طب الأسنان مع مراعاة عالية للأخلاقيات والالتزام بالمعايير الطبية القانونية.
2. حامي: تطبيق تدابير مكافحة العدوى والحماية من الإشعاع.
3. متواصل: التواصل بشكل فعال مع المرضى والزملاء وغيرهم من أعضاء الفريق الطبي والسني.
4. حل المشكلات: تطبيق التفكير النقدي وحل المشكلات القائم على الأدلة عند تقديم رعاية المرضى.
5. قابل للتكيف: الاستجابة للخصائص الثقافية والاجتماعية للمجتمع وفهم آثارها على إدارة أمراض الفم والوقاية منها.
6. متعاون: العمل في فريق مع موظفي طب الأسنان (موظفي الاستقبال، مساعدي طب الأسنان، أخصائي صحة الأسنان، فنيي مختبرات الأسنان ومنسقي العلاج) للتعامل مع حالات الأسنان.
7. القائد: إظهار الصفات القيادية والقدرة على العمل بفعالية ضمن فريق.
8. المتعلم الذاتي: السعي من أجل التعليم المستمر، تطوير الذات، التعلم والبحث مدى الحياة للبقاء على اطلاع دائم بالتطورات في ممارسات طب الأسنان وتكنولوجيا الأسنان.
9. المهنية: تحديد الحدود المهنية وإجراء الاحالات السريرية عند الاقتضاء.

6. Collaborator: Work in a team with dental staff (receptionists, dental assistants, dental hygienists, dental laboratory technicians, and treatment coordinators) to deal with dental cases.

أ. المعرفة والفهم:

أ1. اظهار المعرفة المتقدمة للأساس العلمي لطب الأسنان وذات الصلة من العلوم الطبية الحيوية والسلوكية والبحث العلمي. 

أ2.  التعرف على بنية ووظيفة جسم الإنسان في الصحة والمرض المتعلقة بممارسة طب الأسنان.

 

ب. المهارات الذهنية / العقلية:

ب1.  تحليل المشاكل السريرية لتجويف الفم والتراكيب حول الفم وبالتالي الوصول إلى التشخيص الصحيح، وضع خطة المعالجة المناسبة ووصف الأدوية المناسبة.

ب2. تشخيص حالات الأسنان السريرية المختلفة من خلال تفسير المعلومات التي تم تجميعها من مصادر مختلفة في طب الأسنان السريري التطبيقي.

ب3. اختيار مواد طب الأسنان المناسبة ومعالجتها بشكل مناسب لاستخدامها في حالة سريرية محددة.

 

ج. المهارات العملية والمهنية:

ج1. علاج مختلف مرضى الأسنان من خلال تطبيق المهارات السريرية المكتسبة في بيئة آمنة باستخدام تدابير الحماية من العدوى والإشعاع.

ج2. إدارة المريض بفعالية وأمان من خلال التحليل المستمر وتقييم نتائج المعالجة لتحديد أي تعديل تداخلي مطلوب. 

ج3. تطبيق التدابير الوقائية لمختلف الفئات العمرية مع مراعاة الاحتياجات المختلفة للأطفال الصغار والمراهقين والبالغين وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة والشيخوخة / كبار السن.

ج4. استخدم أدوات وأجهزة ومواد جديدة للبقاء على اطلاع دائم بالتكنولوجيا الحديثة التي أدخلت إلى مجالات طب الأسنان السريري.

ج5. التعامل مع حالات الطوارئ الطبية المختلفة والقدرة على ادارتها ضمن ممارسة طب الأسنان أو الرجوع إلى الأخصائي.

د1. استخدام تكنولوجيا المعلومات كوسيلة مساعدة للتشخيص والعلاج مع الاخذ بعين الاعتبار اخلاقيات المهنة.

د2. الالتزام بالتعلم الذاتي والتطوير للبقاء على اطلاع دائم بالتحديثات في ممارسة طب الأسنان.

د3. إظهار مهارات القيادة والعمل الجماعي مع الزملاء وغيرهم من فريق صحة الفم لتقديم الرعاية الصحية

     الفموية بشكل فعال من خلال اعداد أولويات المعالجة وإدارة الوقت.

د4. التواصل الفعال مع المرضى وأقاربهم وأعضاء الرعاية الصحية مع الاحتفاظ بالسجلات المناسبة بما يتماشى مع سرية المريض والمتطلبات الطبية القانونية.

A2. Recognize the structure and function of the human body in health and disease related to the practice of dentistry.

B1.  Analyze the clinical problems of the oral cavity and para-oral structures thus reaching a correct diagnosis, creating an appropriate treatment plan, and prescribing proper medications.

B2. Diagnose different clinical dental conditions through the interpretation of collected information from various resources in applied clinical dentistry.

B3. Select suitable dental materials and manipulate them properly to be used in a specific clinical situation.

 

1. Practical and Professional Skills:

C1. Treat various dental patients by applying the gained clinical skills working in a safe environment using infection and radiation protection measures.

C2. Manage the patient effectively and safely with continuous analysis and evaluation of treatment outcomes to determine any needed modification of intervention.

C3. Apply preventive measures for different age groups bearing in mind the different needs of young children, adolescents, adults, special needs, and the aging population/elderly.

C4. Use new tools, devices, and materials to remain updated with technological advances introduced to the fields of clinical dentistry.

C5. Deal with different medical emergencies and be competent in their management within the dental practice setup or otherwise refer to a specialist.
