Sana’a – Faculty of Dentistry Organizes Training Workshop on Exam Paper Preparation Based on Learning Outcomes
The Quality Assurance and Development Unit at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Science and Technology (UST) – Sana’a, organized today a training workshop for faculty members entitled: “Exam Paper Preparation Based on Learning Outcomes,” delivered by Prof. Mohammed Al-Sharjabi.
The workshop aimed to enhance faculty members’ skills in designing and evaluating assessment tools, ensuring the alignment of examinations with the intended learning outcomes of each course, and achieving fairness and accuracy in assessing student performance.
During the workshop, emphasis was placed on developing exam questions using diverse formats and aligning them with educational objectives. Additionally, the use of test blueprinting (exam specification tables) was highlighted to ensure comprehensive coverage of scientific content and targeted skills.
This event comes as part of a series of activities implemented by the Faculty to enhance the quality of education and advance the academic process, contributing to improved learning outcomes and elevating the efficiency of teaching and assessment in dental programs.
