Female Branch Library

The Female Branch Library was established in conjunction with the founding of the University of Science and Technology (UST) in 1994. It is a central library that covers all college specializations. It is considered one of the libraries that seeks to provide high‑quality information services that effectively contribute to meeting the needs of library users at various educational levels, including undergraduate students, faculty members, and external beneficiaries, in order to encourage scientific research and support academic curricula. The library covers all disciplines.

Books Section		 The library contains more than 20,000 print books covering various fields, including references, atlases, encyclopedias, and dictionaries.
Periodicals
Periodicals Section		 This section contains many periodicals in the fields covered by the library, including the university’s journals and those received as gifts.
Theses
Theses and Dissertations Section		 This section contains outstanding student graduation research and many master’s and doctoral dissertations in those fields.
CDs
Software and CDs Section		 It contains many discs for academic materials and scientific books in the library’s coverage areas, as well as research and projects.
Lab
Library Lab		 A lab equipped with computers prepared for scientific research and use of the electronic library.
