A new or currently enrolled student in any program may transfer to another program within the University's programs, subject to the following conditions:
- The transfer must take place during the announced admission and registration period, and no later than three weeks from the start of the academic year.

- The scientific content of the course to be approved for equivalency must be no less than 80% of the scientific content of the course in the study plan of the program to which the student is transferring.
- The number of credit hours of the course to be approved for equivalency must be no less than 75% of the number of credit hours of the course in the program to which the student is transferring.

- Courses from the final levels are not eligible for equivalency.
- No more than five years may have passed since the student passed the specialised course to be equivalenced in applied programs, and ten years in the remaining programs.
- The student is required to attend the courses required at academic levels lower than the level in which they have been placed.
- When promoted to a higher level, the student under equivalency is subject to the promotion system applied in the program.
- The student has the right to compete for top-of-level honours, provided that all courses in that level are studied during the same academic year.
- The student has the right to compete for graduation honours for transfer students between the University's programs, provided that all courses are studied in the same semesters and academic levels according to the study plan of the program to which the student transferred, and without conflicting with the conditions for graduation honours.
- Graduates of one of the University's programs who apply to study in another program, or students who were academically dismissed and re-registered in the same program, are subject to the rules for transferring students from outside the University.
- A student under equivalency is placed in a specific level if the total number of courses required from that level and previous levels does not exceed the total courses of that level, plus the number of approved courses for promotion in the program. Courses equivalence-approved from higher levels than the level in which the student will be placed are counted when calculating the number of approved courses for placement.

This must take place at the beginning of the academic year, and before the end of the registration period specified in the University calendar, subject to the following conditions:

- Equivalency is carried out based on the original transcript certified by the Ministry, submitted during the admission and registration period.
- No more than 50% of the total number of credit hours in the study plan of the program the student wishes to join may be approved for the student. Priority in equivalency is given to courses related to the University's and Department's requirements.

- A course or block with a prerequisite that the student has not passed may not be equivalenced.

- Equivalency is only carried out after providing the course or block syllabi studied by the student, certified by the university from which the student transferred.
- No more than five years may have passed since the student passed the specialised course or block to be equivalenced in applied programs, and ten years in the remaining programs.
- The student is required to attend the courses or blocks required at academic levels lower than the level in which they have been placed.
- After the student studies under the equivalency arrangement, the promotion system approved in the program applies to them.
