Sana’a — Amidst an atmosphere filled with pride and joy, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences at the University of Science and Technology (UST) celebrated on Monday, April 14, 2025, the graduation of a new cohort of female students from the Business Administration and International Business Administration programs. The cohort was named “Athar Riyadi – Baqun Ma Baqiya Al-Zaytoun” (Pioneering Impact – Enduring as Long as the Olive Trees Remain), during a grand ceremony held at the Queen Saba Hall in the capital, Sana’a.
The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Dr. Najib Mohammed Al-Bashari, who delivered a speech expressing his pride and joy in graduating this distinguished constellation of female students. He affirmed the university’s commitment to supporting its female graduates and assisting them in their future steps, praising its pioneering role as the first private university in Yemen in qualifying scientific and professional competencies capable of keeping pace with the challenges of the era and the labor market.
Dr. Al-Bashari emphasized in his speech that graduation represents the beginning of a new phase that requires perseverance and diligence to achieve success. He extended his congratulations to the graduates and their families, expressing his gratitude to the academic and administrative staff and everyone who contributed to preparing this cohort.
The ceremony was also attended by the Head of the Department of Administrative Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Ansi, a number of faculty members, female representatives from the Department of Female Student Affairs, and the graduates’ families, who participated in this special occasion dominated by feelings of joy, pride, and gratitude.
The event featured artistic and expressive performances, as well as moving speeches delivered by the graduates, through which they expressed their thanks and gratitude to their university and professors, reviewing the milestones of their educational journey characterized by diligence, challenges, and ambition.
This celebration serves as the culmination of a four-year academic journey spent by the students within the halls of the faculty, during which they acquired knowledge and skills in their specialization and prepared to launch into the labor market with confidence and competence, backed by solid scientific training and continuous care from the university.
The ceremony concluded with the honoring of the graduates and the distribution of certificates, in a touching moment that encapsulated years of struggle and excellence amidst warm applause from attendees, families, professors, and peers.
