Architectural Engineering Department Organizes Scientific Visit for Third-Level Students to Al-Amal Hospital

Hudaidah — Within the framework of enhancing the applied aspect and linking academic curricula to practical reality, the Department of Architectural Engineering organized a scientific field visit for third-level students to Al-Amal Hospital, as an essential part of the requirements of the semester project dedicated to "Hospital Design."

The visit aimed to familiarize students with the various functional departments of the hospital, the mechanism of organizing movement between patients, visitors, and medical staff, in addition to identifying the functional relationships between departments and the planning and design requirements that must be observed when designing health facilities.

During the visit, students toured a number of the hospital's departments and listened to an explanation about the nature of work in each department and the services it provides, which contributed to enhancing their understanding of the functional and architectural requirements of hospitals and linking theoretical aspects with practical application.

This visit comes within the department's keenness to develop students' skills and enrich their field experiences, contributing to their preparation for professional practice and enhancing the quality of the outputs of their academic projects.
