Sana’a -In an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and competition, the Department of English Language organized on Sunday, January 26, 2025, a competition for second-level female students in advanced essay writing of various types, during which the students demonstrated exceptional skills in advanced writing.
Initially, the second-level female students were divided into six sub-groups, and each group was assigned to write a specific type of essay: descriptive, narrative, comparison and contrast, cause and effect, and finally argumentative.
The groups were then given a week to prepare for writing the chosen essays, with everyone participating actively in the writing process and cooperating among themselves.
On the day of the competition, the students delivered wonderful presentations of their essays before the professors of the Department, who evaluated the students’ performance in both writing and speaking skills and selected the winning group.
In the end, all groups demonstrated exceptional abilities and a deep understanding of writing various types of essays, showcasing creativity, brilliance, great cooperation, and unmatched enthusiasm for excellence and victory. With great pride, the descriptive essay group won first place, presenting a precise, impactful, and distinguished description dedicated to Yahya Sinwar.
