Sana’a – As part of the keenness of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Science and Technology (Main Campus / Sana’a) to enhance the practical and applied aspect for its students and enable them to bridge theoretical study with practical reality, the Department of Sharia and Law organized a field visit on Monday, August 4, 2025, to the United Nations Office in Sana’a. The visit aimed to learn about the organization’s nature of work within the framework of linking theoretical aspects with practical ones for the “International Organizations” course, as well as to understand the structure of the United Nations and the roles it plays in the humanitarian field and international organization.
The visit was supervised by Prof. Dr. Essam Al-Sunidar, instructor of the International Organizations course in the Department, who expressed his happiness with this visit and extended his sincere gratitude to the UN Resident Representative for the warm reception and cooperation in helping our students learn about the organization’s role.
