Sana’a – As part of bridging academic coursework with practical field experience, third-year media students from the University of Science and Technology (UST, Main Headquarters / Sana’a) conducted an academic field visit to the Translation Center at Sana’a University on Tuesday, 18 Rajab 1447 AH, corresponding to January 6, 2026 CE.
During the visit, the students attended an informative lecture delivered by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Tajaddin, Head of the Center, who discussed the English language, the importance of mastering it, and media translation. The session was also addressed by Dr. Faisal, Head of the Translation Unit.
The students toured the various translation units within the Center, observing the workflow procedures from receiving documents from clients through the translation and review stages, up to final delivery. The visit was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Essam Al-Goubehi, instructor of the Media Translation course. At the conclusion of the visit, the students expressed their satisfaction and appreciation for the valuable insights and practical knowledge they gained.
