Overview of the Library:
The Female Students Branch Library was established concurrently with the founding of the University in 1994. It serves as a central library encompassing all academic disciplines offered across the University’s faculties. It is considered one of the libraries that strives to provide high-quality information services, contributing effectively to meeting the needs of beneficiaries at different educational levels in undergraduate studies, in addition to serving faculty members and external users. This supports scientific research and enhances academic curricula.
The library covers the following disciplines:

The library is located in the Female Students Branch building, on the seventh floor.

Books Section:
The library contains more than 20,000 printed volumes covering the various disciplines supported by the library. This section includes references, atlases, encyclopedias, and dictionaries. -
Periodicals Section:
This section includes numerous journals across the fields covered by the library, as well as university publications and materials received through donations. -
Theses and Dissertations Section:
This section contains distinguished undergraduate research projects and a wide range of Master’s and PhD theses in various fields. -
Software and CD-ROM Section:
This section includes a variety of digital materials and scientific resources across the disciplines covered by the library, including research and academic projects. -
Library Laboratory:
Equipped with computers designated for scientific research and access to the electronic library. The library also provides a wireless network for users’ personal devices.

- Borrowing and returning books through an automated system in accordance with lending regulations.
- Guidance and orientation for users on how to access and utilize information resources.
- Training on the use of the electronic library and its services.

- Assistance to researchers in identifying their information needs through the library’s automated system.
- Provision of a suitable environment for reading and research, ensuring adherence to library regulations.
- Availability of computer laboratories for academic research.
