Sana’a – The Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Department organized on Monday, August 31, 2026, corresponding to 18 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1448 AH, at 9:00 a.m., the public defense of a Master’s thesis in Orthodontics by researcher Manal Hisham Saeed Ahmed Rubaid, held at the Seminar Hall in the College of Medicine building. The thesis was entitled “Assessment of Dental Arch Widths among a Group of Yemeni Children with Class I and Class II Malocclusions.”
The thesis defense committee consisted of Dr. Rami Abdulrahman Ali Ishaq, Assistant Professor of Orthodontics at Sana’a University, External Examiner and Chair; Dr. Yousra Abdo Mohammed Al-Mansoub, Assistant Professor of Orthodontics at the University of Science and Technology, Internal Examiner and Member; and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Salem Al-Labni, Associate Professor of Orthodontics at the University of Science and Technology and the researcher’s academic supervisor, Member.
The defense was attended by a number of faculty members, postgraduate students, researchers, academics, and other interested individuals, as well as the researcher’s relatives and colleagues. The committee listened to a brief presentation by the researcher outlining the thesis, its objectives and significance, and the findings reached through the study.
The thesis defense committee commended the research presented by the researcher and praised her academic and research capabilities.
