Sana’a — The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research organized on Thursday, Muharram 8, 1447 AH, corresponding to July 3, 2025, at ten in the morning in the Al-Aqsa Hall for Scientific Discussions at the deanship, the public defense for a Master’s thesis in Pharmacology submitted by researcher Hind Fadel Ahmed Al-Sanabani, entitled “The Effect of Adding Coenzyme Q-10 Supplement to Standard Clarithromycin-Based Triple Therapy on the Eradication Rate of Helicobacter pylori Infection.”

The defense committee consisted of:

  • Prof. Dr. Doaa Anwar Ibrahim Al-Mumen, Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Science & Technology (UST) (Internal Examiner and Chair).

  • Dr. Ali Abdullah Ahmed Al-Mahdhar, Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Thamar University (External Examiner and Member).

  • Dr. Buthaina Abdul-Wali Abdul-Rahman Al-Omrani, Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Science & Technology (UST) (Supervisor and Member).

The defense was attended by Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdo Al-Sharabi, Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Ruwaida Nuaman Al-Baadani, Graduate Studies Officer at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Ahmed Saif Muharam, Director of Training and Research Administration at the Modern European Hospital, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Awad, Deputy Medical Director and Head of the Emergency Department at the Modern European Hospital, alongside a number of faculty members, graduate students, researchers, and the researcher’s relatives and colleagues.

The defense committee listened to a brief presentation by the researcher regarding the scientific thesis, its objectives, significance, and findings. The committee praised the thesis presented by the researcher as well as her academic and research capabilities.
