Sana’a — Amidst an atmosphere of joy and celebration of achievement and reaping the rewards, a farewell ceremony was held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, for the 30th batch of General Pharmacy and the 7th batch of Clinical Pharmacy, the “Al-Quds Pharmacists” cohort of graduates from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Science and Technology (UST).
During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Jamil Al-Dhabhani, Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy, delivered a speech congratulating the graduates and wishing them continued success in their professional lives, considering this historic moment the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance, long nights of studying, and dedicated effort.
Al-Dhabhani urged the graduates to continue self-learning and pursue graduate studies to acquire further knowledge and skills, elevating their academic and practical levels. He also offered them a set of valuable pieces of advice and guidance for their field practice, most notably committing to professional ethics, keeping the service of the nation and citizens, and seeking the pleasure of Almighty God at the forefront of everything they do.
The Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department expressed profound gratitude to the faculty members for their efforts in preparing and qualifying the students, as well as to the parents for their immense giving and support in educating their children.
The graduates’ speech was delivered by graduate Mansour Al-Aqab, who expressed great gratitude to the faculty leadership and all faculty members for the knowledge, sciences, training, and support they provided throughout their academic journey, which culminated in this success.
The ceremony featured artistic performances that were well-received, bringing smiles and joy to the faces of the attendees, and included the administration of the medical oath to the graduates.
The celebration was attended by faculty members including Dr. Abdullah Al-Jamali, Dr. Abdul-Razzaq Al-Khazan, Dr. Mashhoor Al-Hammadi, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Qahfah, and Mr. Mohammad Al-Mandi, Alumni Club Officer.
The ceremony concluded with honoring the graduates, faculty members, and everyone who contributed to the success of the event, followed by taking commemorative photos so that these happy moments remain etched in the memories of the graduates and their families.
