Sana’a — As part of the scientific activities organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Science and Technology (UST) for the academic year 1447 AH / 2025–2026 AD, and coordinated by the Dean of the Faculty and the Head of the Department, the Training Committee at the faculty organized a scientific field visit on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, for fifth-year students to the Yemeni-Egyptian Pharmaceutical Industries Co., within the framework of the practical and applied program scheduled in the faculty’s field training plan.
During the visit, the students toured the various departments and production lines in the factory, learning about the stages of drug manufacturing starting from raw materials down to packaging, alongside the approved quality control, safety, and pharmaceutical systems.
This type of field visit aims to bridge the gap between theoretical academic knowledge and practical application within a real industrial environment, thereby enhancing the competence and skills of students prior to graduation.
The students expressed their immense benefit from this visit, thanking the factory management for their cooperation and the Faculty of Pharmacy for its commitment to developing the practical skills of its students.
