Sana’a — The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research organized on Saturday, Sha’ban 19, 1447 AH, corresponding to February 7, 2026, at nine in the morning in the Seminar Hall at the Faculty of Medicine building, the public defense for a Master’s thesis in Pharmacology submitted by researcher Jamal Jamil Abdullah Omar, entitled “The Potential Protective Effect of Nebivolol and Candesartan Against Cisplatin-Induced Nephrotoxicity in Rats.”

Dr. Buthaina Abdul-Wali Abdul-Rahman Al-Omrani, Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Science and Technology (UST) (Internal Examiner and Member).
The defense was attended by a number of faculty members, graduate students, researchers, and the researcher’s relatives and colleagues. The defense committee listened to a brief presentation by the researcher regarding the scientific thesis, its objectives, significance, and findings. The committee praised the thesis presented by the researcher as well as his academic and research capabilities.
