Sana’a — The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research organized on Monday, Sha’ban 21, 1447 AH, corresponding to February 9, 2026, at nine in the morning in the Seminar Hall at the Faculty of Medicine building, the public defense for a Master’s thesis in Pharmacology submitted by researcher Khadija Tarish Abdullah Al-Dhabhani, entitled “A Comparative Study of the Topical Application of Platelet-Rich Plasma and Phenytoin in Healing Diabetic Foot Ulcers in Rats.”
The defense committee consisted of:

Dr. Salah Abdullah Ahmed Abdo, Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Hodeidah University (External Examiner and Chair).

Prof. Dr. Doaa Anwar Ibrahim Al-Mumen, Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Science and Technology (UST) (Supervisor and Member).

Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Rizq Battah, Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Science and Technology (UST) (Internal Examiner and Member).
The defense was attended by a number of faculty members, graduate students, researchers, and the researcher’s relatives and colleagues. The defense committee listened to a brief presentation by the researcher regarding the scientific thesis, its objectives, significance, and findings. The committee praised the thesis presented by the researcher as well as her academic and research capabilities.
