Sana’a – The College of Pharmacy at the University of Science and Technology (UST) organized an academic orientation meeting for new students for the 1448 AH academic year, attended by the college leadership, as part of its commitment to preparing students for university life and familiarizing them with the academic environment, regulations, and study systems.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Abdullah Al-Jamli, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, delivered a welcoming address in which he congratulated the new students on joining the college and wished them a successful and distinguished academic year.
The orientation covered a range of academic and advisory topics designed to support students throughout their university journey. The session introduced key study requirements, helped students adapt to university life, and highlighted the educational and training opportunities available at the college.
The college leadership emphasized the importance of adhering to academic regulations, maintaining strong academic performance, and developing professional skills and competencies in line with the requirements of the pharmacy profession and the labor market.
Following the meeting, the college organized a guided tour for the new students, which included the laboratories, library, and sports hall. The tour aimed to familiarize students with the facilities and services available on campus and provide them with a better understanding of their academic environment and the resources accessible throughout their studies.
The event reflects the ongoing efforts of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Science and Technology (UST) to support students from the start of their academic journey, strengthen direct communication with them, and provide an environment conducive to achieving their academic and professional aspirations.
