About the Program

The Bachelor of Medical Laboratories program at the University of Science and Technology, launched in 1998 as the first private specialised program in this field in Yemen, is a fundamental pillar in preparing technically qualified cadres scientifically and practically. This is achieved through a stimulating educational environment provided by a distinguished full‑time academic staff, laboratories equipped with the latest training tools, and field training agreements with model hospitals.

Since its inception, the program has contributed to supplying the local and regional health sector with highly competent medical laboratory specialists capable of conducting accurate analyses and diagnosing diseases, thereby enhancing the quality of health services and contributing to improving preventive and curative care within Yemen and beyond.

  • The Medical Laboratories program aims to graduate skilled medical laboratory specialists capable of contributing effectively to community service and scientific research at the local, regional, and international levels, through a distinguished educational environment, qualified competencies, high‑quality curricula, and modern educational technologies, while adhering to quality and academic accreditation standards.
