🎯 Translation Department Objectives

• Preparing specialised competencies in the core fields of translation science, and qualifying enrollees scientifically and skill‑wise so as to enable them to perform the various translation operations, as well as to prepare for enrolment in postgraduate programs and obtain professional certificates in translation.
• Enriching students in translation and keeping pace with the knowledge and technological accumulation in the various fields of translation brought about by scientific, economic, administrative, and technological developments, and their impact on translation science.
• Practising translation operations scientifically, alongside transferring knowledge and expertise from other nations.
• Providing an educational program in the field of English language and translation at a high level of quality, and developing it to keep pace with global developments.
• Contributing to advancing the translation movement in the Republic of Yemen to and from Arabic, and participating in the peer review of translated works according to precise standards.
• Creating a cultural and scientific environment that provides female students with opportunities for self‑development.
• Equipping female students with practical experience by training and preparing them for community service, developing graduates' abilities to pursue learning and professional development after graduation, and qualifying them to compete in the labour market.
• Contributing to community service by holding courses and workshops in English language and translation, and translating cultural events and national conferences.
• Enriching one's linguistic vocabulary by reading in various fields and keeping pace with all the achievements and developments that science offers.

The need for translation is urgent for communication between peoples and individuals, especially in this era of communications — an era of gatherings that cannot dispense with translation. The world is now occupied with tourism, religious, political, and sporting gatherings, and all walks of life.
