Sana'a - The English-Language Business Administration Program organized a field visit for third-level students to the headquarters of Saba Islamic Bank in Sana'a on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 (5 Rabi' Al-Thani 1448 AH), under the supervision of Dr. Alaa Al-Deen Al-Sharjabi, as part of the program's educational and practical activities.

The visit aimed to strengthen students' practical skills, familiarize them with the nature of banking operations, procedures, and activities, and provide them with valuable insight into professional practices within the Yemeni banking sector.

The students were welcomed by Mr. Abduh Al-Shujaa, Mr. Mohammed Monsar, and Mr. Ayman Soulan from the Bank's Human Resources and Training Department, who provided the support and facilitation necessary to ensure the success of the visit.

The program included two specialized lectures. The first, on banking procedures and operations, was delivered by Dr. Fahd Al-Sulami, Director of Branch Management. His presentation highlighted the nature of banking work and the mechanisms through which banking procedures and services are implemented.

The second lecture focused on banking risk management and compliance and was presented by Mr. Amer Al-Amri, Assistant Director of Risk and Compliance. He reviewed the concept of banking risks, emphasized the importance of effective risk management, and discussed adherence to the regulations and procedures governing banking operations.

Both lectures featured active discussion and engagement from students, helping them connect academic concepts with real-world practices and deepen their understanding of the banking industry and the environment of financial institutions.

The visit reflects the commitment of the English-Language Business Administration Program to strengthening the integration of academic learning and practical application, while providing students with field experiences that contribute to their professional development and readiness for the labor market.

At the conclusion of the visit, the students and their academic supervisor expressed their appreciation to the management and staff of Saba Islamic Bank for their warm reception, cooperation, and the valuable information and support they provided, which greatly enriched the students' learning experience.
