Tasks and Responsibilities of Departments and Units
The departments and units within the Deanship exercise the following tasks and responsibilities:

Strategic Planning Department
- Preparing the operational plan for the unit, developing its performance indicators, and working on their execution.
- Formulating necessary proposals to develop and improve work, and contributing to enhancing the Deanship's workflows and methods.
- Preparing annual and periodic reports for the unit, submitting them to the Dean, and reviewing accomplishment rates.
- Participating in administrative and institutional development committees and providing developmental proposals.
- Preparing for the university's Strategy Committee meetings and drafting the agendas.
- Coordinating the preparation of the university's strategic plan through workshops, committees, and consultants.
- Following up on the preparation of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports at the university level.
- Proposing amendments to the strategic plan based on the evaluation of objective achievement levels.
- Collecting and analyzing relevant data and information and presenting them to the University Presidency.
- Monitoring the performance of the strategic planning program and proposing necessary improvements.
- Providing the necessary support to the Deanship and performing any other tasks within its scope of competence.

- Contributing to the development and preparation of the evaluation system for various entities within the university.
- Setting evaluation criteria and performance indicators for academic and administrative work.
- Contributing to the design and development of measurement and evaluation tools.
- Assisting in the preparation, organization, and execution of the evaluation process.
- Analyzing data and processing it statistically.
- Preparing the annual performance report and submitting it to the University Presidency.
- Supervising the criteria and annual awards for excellence at the university.
- Providing the necessary support to the Deanship and performing any other tasks within its scope of competence.

- Preparing the operational plan for the unit and developing its own performance indicators.

- Mapping out plans for both institutional and program-level academic accreditation programs.
- Coordinating with departments, colleges, as well as local and international accreditation bodies.
- Following up on the visits of experts and accreditation delegations.
- Supervising the progress of accreditation readiness and preparation processes.
- Providing support and consultation to colleges and academic programs.
- Following up on the renewal of accreditation for accredited programs.
- Monitoring academic program licenses at both the main campus and its branches.
- Following up on the completion of academic program and course specifications.
- Providing the necessary support to the Deanship and performing any other assigned tasks.
