Tasks and Responsibilities of Departments and Units

The departments and units within the Deanship exercise the following tasks and responsibilities:

Strategic Planning Department

  1. Preparing the operational plan for the unit, developing its performance indicators, and working on their execution.
  2. Formulating necessary proposals to develop and improve work, and contributing to enhancing the Deanship's workflows and methods.
  3. Preparing annual and periodic reports for the unit, submitting them to the Dean, and reviewing accomplishment rates.
  4. Participating in administrative and institutional development committees and providing developmental proposals.
  5. Preparing for the university's Strategy Committee meetings and drafting the agendas.
  6. Coordinating the preparation of the university's strategic plan through workshops, committees, and consultants.
  7. Following up on the preparation of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports at the university level.
  8. Proposing amendments to the strategic plan based on the evaluation of objective achievement levels.
  9. Collecting and analyzing relevant data and information and presenting them to the University Presidency.
  10. Monitoring the performance of the strategic planning program and proposing necessary improvements.
  11. Providing the necessary support to the Deanship and performing any other tasks within its scope of competence.

  8. Analyzing data and processing it statistically.
  9. Preparing the annual performance report and submitting it to the University Presidency.
  10. Supervising the criteria and annual awards for excellence at the university.
  11. Providing the necessary support to the Deanship and performing any other tasks within its scope of competence.

  5. Coordinating with departments, colleges, as well as local and international accreditation bodies.
  6. Following up on the visits of experts and accreditation delegations.
  7. Supervising the progress of accreditation readiness and preparation processes.
  8. Providing support and consultation to colleges and academic programs.
  9. Following up on the renewal of accreditation for accredited programs.
  10. Monitoring academic program licenses at both the main campus and its branches.
  11. Following up on the completion of academic program and course specifications.
  12. Providing the necessary support to the Deanship and performing any other assigned tasks.
