Sana’a – Under the patronage of Prof. Al-Qasim Mohammed Abbas, President of the University, the College of Dentistry at the University of Science and Technology (UST) inaugurated the scientific theoretical program for internship students on Saturday, August 1, 2026. The program will continue for two weeks in the Late Dr. Tarek Sinan Abu Luhom Hall at the University Hospital.

At the opening session, Dr. Issa Nassar, Internship Program Coordinator at the College of Dentistry, welcomed the internship students and wished them success in their professional journey. He emphasized that the program represents an important academic and professional milestone for enhancing students’ clinical skills and benefiting from the expertise of faculty members, thereby contributing to the preparation of competent dentists capable of delivering distinguished healthcare services and serving the community.
The program aims to strengthen the scientific and clinical competencies of internship students through a series of specialized lectures covering the latest developments in oral surgery, periodontology, endodontics, prosthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, radiology, biomaterials, the management of patients with special medical conditions, and scientific research.
The lectures are delivered by a distinguished group of faculty members from the College, reflecting its commitment to preparing dentists with strong academic knowledge and practical expertise, contributing to the advancement of healthcare quality and community service.
