Sana’a – The University of Science and Technology (UST) – Main Branch – Sana’a, represented by the Faculty of Dentistry and the Medical Education and Training Center, has executed an intensive specialized training program in fixed dental prosthetics (Crown and Bridge), under the patronage of the University President Prof. Dr. Al-Qassem Mohammed Abbas and with the support of the Optimal Choice Company for Medical Supplies.
The program lasted for three days with the participation of a number of dentistry graduates, students, and those interested in developing their clinical skills in fixed prosthodontics, as part of the university’s efforts to enhance the practical aspect and raise the efficiency of medical cadres.
The program combined theoretical lectures with practical applications, covering the latest scientific methods in tooth preparation and selecting appropriate biomaterials for various clinical cases, alongside intensive training inside the specialized laboratories of the Faculty of Dentistry to simulate the clinical work environment and enable participants to acquire precise practical skills in designing and installing dental restorations.
The Faculty Deanship and the Management of the Medical Education and Training Center emphasized that organizing these qualitative programs comes within the university’s vision aimed at developing medical education and keeping pace with modern developments in dentistry, contributing to the qualification of graduates and practitioners who possess scientific and practical efficiency to provide distinguished therapeutic services to the community.
The course concluded by granting participants accredited certificates in appreciation of their participation and benefit from the intensive training program.
