Sana’a – The Faculty of Administrative and Human Sciences organized a welcoming and orientation meeting for first-year female students for the academic year 1448 AH. The event was attended by Prof. Munther Ishaq, Dean of the Faculty, along with a number of faculty members and heads of academic departments. The meeting was held as part of the faculty’s commitment to welcoming new students, preparing them for university life, and familiarizing them with academic regulations, policies, and study requirements across the various programs offered by the faculty.
In his welcoming and guidance speech, Prof. Munther Ishaq greeted the new students and expressed his pleasure at their joining the Faculty of Administrative and Human Sciences. He wished them a successful university journey filled with achievement, excellence, and distinction.
The Dean emphasized that university education represents a crucial stage in shaping students’ personalities and enhancing their knowledge and skills. He stressed the importance of diligence, commitment, discipline, and making the best use of the learning environment provided by the faculty, which contributes to preparing qualified graduates capable of competing effectively and making meaningful contributions to society and the labor market.
Prof. Ishaq also encouraged the students to focus on academic achievement, maintain regular attendance, benefit from the expertise of faculty members, and actively participate in scientific, cultural, and student activities. He noted that university success extends beyond obtaining high grades, encompassing the development of a well-rounded personality, strong communication skills, critical thinking, creativity, and a sense of responsibility.
During the meeting, department heads and faculty members presented several topics related to academic programs and specializations, study plans, registration procedures, course requirements, and the key academic regulations, policies, and instructions that students should understand and adhere to from the beginning of their academic journey.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of regular attendance and academic discipline, making use of academic advising and office hours, and learning about the activities, programs, and services offered by the faculty. These resources are designed to help students integrate into university life and take advantage of the educational and developmental opportunities available to them.
The event witnessed positive engagement from the new students, who were given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss their inquiries directly with the Dean and faculty members. This interaction helped strengthen communication, clarify various academic and administrative matters, and prepare the students for a successful start to their university experience.
