Sana’a — In an atmosphere filled with pride and joy, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences at the University of Science and Technology (UST) bade farewell to a new cohort of female graduates from the Department of Accounting and Finance, the “Qiyam Al-Quds and Arqam Al-Azeemah” (Values of Jerusalem and Figures of Determination) cohort, during a graduation ceremony held on the morning of Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Grand Al-Taj Hall in Sana’a.
The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Dr. Najib Mohammed Al-Bashari, who delivered a speech on the occasion expressing his pride and joy in graduating this distinguished constellation of female students. He affirmed that the university will remain a haven for all graduates and a pillar of support in their upcoming journey, praising the pioneering role played by the University of Science and Technology (UST) as the first private university in Yemen in preparing scientific and professional competencies capable of keeping pace with contemporary requirements and labor market challenges.
Dr. Al-Bashari noted in his speech that “graduation is not the end of the road, but rather the beginning of a new phase full of opportunities and responsibilities, where success requires hard work and perseverance.” He extended his congratulations to the graduates and their families, expressing his gratitude to the faculty members, administrative staff, and everyone who contributed to preparing and graduating this cohort.
The ceremony was also attended by a number of faculty members from the college, female representatives from the Department of Female Student Affairs, alongside the graduates’ families, who shared the joy of graduation with their daughters in a moment blending feelings of happiness with pride and gratitude.
The event featured artistic and expressive performances, as well as moving speeches in which the graduates expressed their gratitude to their university and professors, highlighting the key milestones of their academic journey, which was filled with diligence, challenges, and aspirations.
This celebration serves as the culmination of a four-year academic journey spent by the students within the college’s halls, during which they acquired knowledge and skills in accounting and finance, preparing them to launch into the labor market with confidence and competence, backed by a robust academic background and continuous support from the university.
The ceremony concluded with the honoring of the graduates and the distribution of certificates, marking an unforgettable moment that crowned years of effort and diligence amidst warm applause from families, professors, and peers.
