Hudaidah — The University of Science and Technology (UST) – Hudaidah Branch celebrated on Tuesday the graduation of 20 male and female students from the Department of Medical Laboratories for the academic year 1447 AH – 2025–2026.
During the ceremony, the Director of the University Branch, Dr. Mohammed Qaid Al-Laima, congratulated the graduates on this academic achievement, affirming that reaching this stage came as the fruit of continuous effort, perseverance, and overcoming difficulties.
Addressing the graduates of the 8th cohort, the “Makers of the Medical Guide” cohort, he said: “You were the best example of diligence and patience, and your arrival today at this stage was not easy,” praising the pivotal role of fathers and mothers in supporting their children until they became qualified cadres capable of contributing to serving themselves, their community, and their country.
He affirmed the Branch’s keenness to offer distinguished educational programs and specializations focused on preparing qualified cadres capable of providing quality services to society at the local and regional levels, wishing the graduates success in their upcoming professional careers.
The graduates’ speech expressed thanks and appreciation to all who contributed to refining their theoretical and practical skills during their years of study at the Branch.
The ceremony, attended by the Financial and Administrative Director of the University Branch, Dr. Ahmed Abdulkhaliq Al-Muntasir, the Head of the Department of Medical Laboratories, Dr. Ikhlas Jazem, and a number of faculty members and parents of the graduates, included various artistic performances and segments.
The ceremony concluded with honoring the Branch Administration and the staff of the Department of Medical Laboratories, and honoring the graduates with certificates, in appreciation of their efforts and academic excellence.
