Sana’a – As part of linking theoretical knowledge with practical application, students of the Radio and Television program in the Department of Media at the University of Science and Technology (UST) conducted a scientific visit on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, to Yemen’s official television channels.
During the visit, the students toured the studios of Yemen Satellite Channel, Saba Channel, and Aden Channel. They were introduced to the stages of television program production, from the initial idea to on-air broadcasting. The students also followed closely the production and broadcast process of the program “Good Morning Yemen” on Yemen Satellite Channel.
The students were received by Mr. Abdulghani Mahdi, Director General of Technical Affairs at Yemen TV; Eng. Abdulkarim Al-Khatib, Director of Operations at Saba Channel; and Eng. Kamal Humaid.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Yusuf Salman, Head of the Media Department at UST, expressed his appreciation to the officials, media professionals, and technical staff of the television channels for their warm reception and for the detailed explanation they provided regarding program production processes and the technologies employed in television broadcasting.
