Program Mission:

The Master’s Program in Clinical Nutrition aims to prepare highly qualified specialists and researchers, equipped with advanced scientific and research skills, committed to professional ethics, and capable of lifelong learning. The program aspires to contribute to the improvement of the community’s nutritional and health status and the resolution of its challenges through a modern curriculum, distinguished faculty, and a well-equipped training infrastructure.

  • To contribute to the development of nutritional and health care services in the community.
  • To graduate researchers capable of identifying and solving the community’s nutritional problems.
  • To offer opportunities for outstanding graduates to pursue higher and specialized education in clinical nutrition.
  • To strengthen collaboration with relevant local and academic institutions.
  • To graduate professionals capable of leading and managing nutrition programs and projects.


Admission Requirements and Required Documents

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from a recognized university with a minimum overall grade of “Good” or its equivalent.
  • Completion of the Postgraduate Admission Application Form of the University of Science and Technology.
  • Certified copy of the Bachelor’s degree certificate, attested by the relevant authorities and authenticated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
  • Certified copy of the academic transcript (Bachelor’s level), attested by the relevant authorities and authenticated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
  • Certified copy of the General Secondary Education Certificate or its equivalent.
  • A copy of the national ID card, family card, or passport for Yemeni applicants. If the applicant does not have a passport, a graduation certificate in English is required.
  • Copies of the first eight pages of a valid passport for non-Yemeni applicants (passport must be valid for over one year and must show a residency visa in Yemen for at least one year).
  • Ten (10) personal photos (size 6×4 cm, white background).
  • The applicant must present the original documents for verification upon request. The certified copies will be kept in the student’s file and will not be returned.
  • Fulfillment of any additional requirements recommended by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
