Sana’a – The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the University of Science and Technology (UST) organized, on Thursday, July 16, 2026 (2 Safar 1448 AH), at 11:00 a.m. in the Seminar Hall at the College of Medicine Building, the public defense of the Master’s thesis in Accounting presented by researcher Mohammed Yahya Ahmed Madais, entitled:

“The Impact of Using Modern Analytical Procedures on Improving the Performance of the External Audit Process: A Field Study of Audit Offices and Firms Operating in the Capital Secretariat of Sana’a, Republic of Yemen.”
The examination committee consisted of Prof. Abdullah Hassan Mohammed Al-Manhoori, Associate Professor of Accounting at UST, serving as Internal Examiner and Chair; Prof. Sultan Ali Ahmed Al-Suraihi, Professor of Accounting at UST and supervisor of the researcher, serving as Committee Member; and Prof. Hameed Abdullah Ali Miswak, Associate Professor of Accounting at Amran University, serving as External Examiner and Committee Member.
The defense was attended by a number of faculty members, graduate students, researchers, interested participants, as well as the researcher’s relatives and colleagues. During the session, the researcher delivered a concise presentation outlining the thesis, its objectives, significance, and the key findings of the study.
The examination committee highly commended the quality of the thesis and praised the researcher’s academic and scientific capabilities, recognizing the value of his contribution to the field of accounting and external auditing.
