Sana’a – The Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Department organized on Sunday, August 30, 2026, corresponding to 17 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1448 AH, at 8:30 a.m., the public defense of a Master’s thesis in Business Administration by researcher Raad Hassan Mansour Faez, held at the Seminar Hall in the College of Medicine building. The thesis was entitled “The Impact of Applying Governance Principles on the Performance of Civil Society Organizations in Yemen.”
The thesis defense committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Zayed Naji Nasser Shawsh, Professor of Business Administration at Amran University, External Examiner and Chair; Prof. Dr. Najeeb Mohammed Yahya Al-Bashari, Associate Professor of Business Administration at the University of Science and Technology, Internal Examiner and Member; and Prof. Dr. Jamal Darham Ahmed Saeed Zaid, Professor of Business Administration at the University of Science and Technology and the researcher’s academic supervisor, Member.
The defense was attended by a number of faculty members, postgraduate students, researchers, academics, and other interested individuals, as well as the researcher’s relatives and colleagues. The committee listened to a brief presentation by the researcher outlining the thesis, its objectives and significance, and the findings reached through the study.
The thesis defense committee commended the research presented by the researcher and praised his academic and research capabilities.
