Sana’a – The Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research organized on Thursday, August 13, 2026, corresponding to 30 Safar 1448 AH, at 11:00 a.m., a public defense of the Master’s thesis in Orthodontics submitted by researcher Doaa Lutuf Hammadi Al-Dabab. The defense was held in the Seminar Hall at the College of Medicine building.
The thesis, entitled “Establishing Normal Cephalometric Measurements Using the Wits Appraisal Analysis for a Sample of Adult Yemenis,” focused on establishing normative cephalometric measurements using the Wits appraisal analysis in a sample of adult Yemenis.
The defense committee comprised Prof. Khaled Abdul Salam Abu Bakr Al-Haddad, Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Sana’a University and the External Examiner, who chaired the committee; Dr. Amin Mohsen Saleh Al-Ashtal, Assistant Professor of Dentistry at the University of Science and Technology and the Internal Examiner, as a committee member; and Prof. Mohammed Abdullah Salem Al-Labani, Associate Professor of Orthodontics at the University of Science and Technology and the researcher’s supervisor, as a committee member.
