Sana’a – The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research organized, on Monday, 4 Rabi’ Al-Awwal 1448 AH, corresponding to August 17, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. in the Seminar Hall of the College of Medicine building, the public defense of the Master’s thesis in Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology submitted by researcher Haytham Mohammed Ismail Saleh Nassar, entitled:
“Assessment of the Accuracy of Dental Implant Placement Using a Sleeveless Digital Surgical Guide in Partially Edentulous Patients: A Clinical Trial.”
The examination committee consisted of Dr. Ali Hussein Ali Al-Hadid, Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Science and Technology (UST), serving as Internal Examiner and Chair; Dr. Wael Ahmed Abdullah Talha, Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Dhamar University, serving as External Examiner and Committee Member; and Prof. Abdulwahab Yahya Mohammed Al-Dailami, Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UST, representing the supervisor and serving as Committee Member.
The defense was attended by a number of faculty members, graduate students, researchers, interested participants, as well as the researcher’s relatives and colleagues. During the session, the researcher presented a concise overview of the thesis, its objectives, significance, and the key findings of the study.
The examination committee commended the quality of the thesis and praised the researcher’s academic and scientific capabilities, highlighting his distinguished efforts in conducting and presenting the research.
