Sana’a – The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research organized, on Saturday, September 5, 2026 (23 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1448 AH), at 9:00 a.m. in the Seminar Hall, College of Medicine Building, the public defense of a Master’s thesis in Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology presented by researcher Mohammed Rifaat Mohammed Ayman Jaalouk, entitled:
“Assessment of Mandibular Bone Density in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Prior to Dental Implant Placement Using Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT).”
The examination committee consisted of:
- Dr. Omar Mohammed Jamali Joon, Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Science and Technology (UST), Internal Examiner and Chair.
- Dr. Wael Ahmed Abdullah Talha, Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dhamar University, External Examiner and Member.
- Prof. Abdulwahab Yahya Mohammed Al-Dailami, Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Science and Technology (UST), Thesis Supervisor and Member.
The defense was attended by a number of faculty members, graduate students, researchers, interested participants, and the researcher’s relatives and colleagues. During the session, the researcher delivered a concise presentation outlining the thesis, its objectives, significance, and key findings.
The examination committee commended the quality of the thesis and praised the researcher’s academic and scientific capabilities, highlighting the value of the study and its contribution to the field of oral surgery and dental implantology.
