Sana’a – Internship Program at the Faculty of Dentistry at University of Science and Technology (UST) organized a training course entitled “Medications in Dentistry” for internship students and dental graduates, presented by the distinguished doctor and trainer Dr. Mohammed Al-Dawla.
The training course comes as part of the Internship Program activities for the academic year 1446 AH / 2025 AD.
Hosted at the University of Science and Technology Hospital hall in the presence of hundreds of internship students, Faculty of Dentistry graduates, and participants from other universities, the course addressed a range of important topics in the field of dentistry. These included the proper use of medications in dental practice, prominent drugs used in dental clinics such as antimicrobial agents and painkillers, and the critical precautions a dentist must observe when prescribing medications to patients.
Furthermore, the sessions discussed various dental cases, exploring the pharmacological management of emergency situations, as well as the pharmacological and medical management of patients with special medical conditions.
At the conclusion of the course, the trainer was honored in the presence of Dr. Amani Al-Shaarani, Internship Program Officer at the Faculty of Dentistry; Dr. Mohammed Al-Haziq, Director of the Medical Education and Training Center; and Dr. Fawaz Al-Dais, Secretary of the Faculty of Dentistry.
