He commended the efforts of the Medicine and Surgery female students in community health awareness and education across a number of companies, factories, and institutions in the Capital Secretariat.

The topics of the field training for fourth-year general Medicine and Surgery female students this year focused on occupational health and safety, identifying occupational hazards, diseases, and accidents affecting workers in workplaces and how to prevent them, in addition to hypertension, diabetes, and domestic accidents for children under five years of age.

The field visits, organized by the Department of Community and Family Medicine at the Faculty for fourth-year female students to a number of hospitals, restaurants, and companies in the Capital Secretariat, aimed to spread awareness and health education regarding occupational hazards affecting workers in these entities. They emphasized the necessity of providing individual and collective protective equipment for workers exposed to occupational hazards, such as special work clothes, face masks, head and face shields, gloves, sterilizers, protective glasses, and safety shoes.

Occupational injuries and accidents varied between burns, electric shocks, cuts, fractures, falls, suffocations, and poisoning, in addition to occupational diseases such as asthma, pneumonia, cancerous tumors, hearing loss, skin diseases, and psychological and mental illnesses related to work stress.

The rate of occupational accidents and diseases varied from one institution to another depending on the level of awareness, compliance with labor regulations and laws, and the presence of preventive measures and emergency procedures in workplaces.

The field training course, uniquely offered by the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Science and Technology, aims to equip students with numerous professional and general skills that a medical graduate must master according to modern accreditation standards.
