» Why Cybersecurity & Networks?

In today's increasingly interconnected world, implementing and maintaining network infrastructure and protecting digital information is a priority for organisations and society as a whole. The fields of networks, systems, IT operations, and cybersecurity have become more complex as societies, industries, government institutions, and the private sector increasingly depend on networks, systems, and digital technology in daily operations.

  • One of the rare and modern specialisations that meets the growing market needs in the fields of cybersecurity, networks, and communications.
  • A study plan prepared according to the latest scientific and academic levels, keeping pace with continuous modernity in the most prestigious regional and international universities.
  • A study plan in the credit‑hour system that enables the student to graduate with a bachelor's degree in less than four years.
  • A specialised academic staff in the College working to raise the level of education and improve its outcomes.
  • Each course in the plan contains a theoretical part and an applied practical part under specialised supervision, culminating in a project completed by the student.
  • Providing laboratories dedicated to the program with the finest technical specifications and the latest systems and applied software, taught in many of the specialisation's courses.
  • The use of modern and varied teaching methods and approaches that enhance the student's abilities in thinking, analysis, and creativity in cybersecurity, information security, and networks and communications — both wired and wireless.
  • Qualifying and preparing graduates capable of building, developing, and testing cybersecurity systems, in addition to building and developing integrated secure network systems in record time, and capable of competing locally and regionally.
  • The program seeks to achieve local and global academic quality standards.
  • The program includes an additional Cisco Academy program, through which the student obtains a Cisco Academy certificate covering (CCNA1, CCNA2, CCNA3, CCNA4), in addition to qualifying students to take international certifications in cybersecurity, cyber defence, and ethical hacking — alongside the bachelor's degree in the specialisation.

» Program Objectives

  • Providing a competent academic program in the fields of cybersecurity and networks, both theoretical and practical, based on international academic standards and meeting the requirements of the local and regional labour market.
  • Providing students with sufficient knowledge in the basic sciences of computing disciplines and the sciences related to supporting cybersecurity and network systems.
  • Conducting scientific studies and research in the field of cybersecurity and networks required by the labour market, and participating in providing effective solutions to society's problems with the aim of advancing development.
  • Training students in teamwork, applied research, artistic innovation, and supporting continuous e‑learning patterns.
  • Developing academic and professional skills to allow the opportunity to study at higher levels (pursuing postgraduate studies: master's and doctorate) and improving career development to meet academic quality standards.
  • Providing students with the necessary knowledge to understand the ethical and societal issues they may face in practical life within the cybersecurity and networks specialisation.
  • Developing students' skills related to cybersecurity and networks through cooperation with the global Cisco Academy by offering internationally accredited CCNA courses and other courses that serve the specialisation within the program's study plan.
