Taiz (Al-Hawban) – Prof. Moaz Abdulsalam, Director of the University of Science and Technology (UST) Branch in Taiz, Al-Hawban, inaugurated the new 1448 AH academic year (2026-2027) on Saturday, 5 Muharram 1448 AH, corresponding to July 20, 2026, across the various departments and academic programs of the branch.
During the inauguration, the Branch Director, accompanied by Mr. Mohammed Hassan Al-Qeiri, Head of Student Affairs, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Anqabi, Student Activities Coordinator, toured a number of classrooms. The Branch Director welcomed the students at the beginning of the new academic year and wished them a successful start filled with academic achievements, perseverance, and excellence in their studies.
He encouraged students to remain committed to their educational goals and strive for the highest levels of academic distinction throughout the year.
It is noteworthy that the inauguration was carried out in accordance with the university academic calendar approved by the University Presidency at the Main Campus in Sana’a and aligned with the academic schedule endorsed by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research.
