The ceremony commenced with verses from the Holy Qur’an recited by graduate Rawiya Al-Jundi. Following the recitation, Mohammed Hassan Al-Qairi, Head of Student Affairs, delivered the university’s address. He welcomed the attendees and congratulated the graduates and their families on this significant occasion, noting that the event marked the culmination of years of dedication and academic achievement.

In his remarks, Al-Qairi stated that the celebration coincided with the opening of admissions and registration for various academic programs, which the branch has continuously developed to meet the needs of the labor market in Taiz Governorate. He also highlighted the branch’s key achievements in academic development and community service, particularly the free training courses recently offered to secondary school graduates and final-year high school students. These initiatives, he noted, reflect the university’s commitment to serving the community despite the challenging circumstances facing the nation.

On behalf of her fellow graduates, graduate Ishtiyaq Al-Qadri delivered the graduates’ speech, expressing sincere appreciation to the university’s leadership, the Medical Laboratory Department, the academic, technical, and administrative staff, and faculty members for their dedication and support throughout their academic journey. She also expressed the graduates’ joy at the recognition and celebration organized by the university and their families, acknowledging the invaluable moral and financial support they had received. Reflecting on their years of study, she spoke about the challenges they faced and successfully overcame in pursuit of academic excellence.

The ceremony featured a formal procession of the graduates and opened with the Yemeni and Palestinian national anthems. Participants then stood to recite the Medical Oath, administered by Dr. Kamal Al-Yousifi, Head of the Medical Laboratory Department.

During the recognition segment, Mohammed Hassan Al-Qairi, Dr. Kamal Al-Yousifi, E-Learning Coordinator Majed Al-Sama’i, Female Students Affairs Officer Ishraq Razaz, and faculty representative Najwa Al-Fakhri honored the graduates. The chairperson and members of the organizing committee also presented awards and certificates of appreciation to the branch leadership, faculty members, technical staff, sponsors, supporters, institutions, companies, merchants, and public figures who contributed to the success of the event.

The celebration included a variety of artistic and cultural performances, with a strong focus on Palestine and Gaza through songs, presentations, and messages that received wide appreciation from the audience. A special documentary presentation was also screened, showcasing memorable moments from the graduates’ university journey, from their first days of study through to graduation.
