Sana’a – The University of Science and Technology (UST), represented by its President, Prof. Al-Qassim Mohammed Abbas, signed a cooperation and partnership agreement today with the HSA Foundation, represented by Ms. Marwa Bajli, as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration and support educational and development initiatives that serve the community and empower youth.
The agreement aims to establish an effective partnership between the two parties across several areas of mutual interest, contributing to the development of academic and community programs, enhancing the quality of education, and implementing initiatives that support students and advance university learning outcomes.
The agreement also provides for cooperation in the exchange of student scholarships in accordance with mechanisms and regulations to be agreed upon by both parties. This will enable eligible students to benefit from scholarship and educational support programs, helping them continue their academic journey and achieve academic excellence.
Both sides emphasized that the agreement represents an important step toward expanding institutional collaboration and reflects their shared commitment to supporting education as a fundamental pillar of sustainable development, while strengthening partnerships that generate a positive impact on society.
At the conclusion of the signing ceremony, the two parties expressed their aspiration to implement the provisions of the agreement in a manner that achieves its objectives, enhances opportunities for students, and supports joint educational and development initiatives.
The signing was attended by Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanish, Secretary-General of UST; Mr. Abdulmajeed Al-Adlani, Director of Marketing and Public Relations; Mr. Abduljabbar Al-Muayyad, Deputy Director of Marketing and Public Relations; and Mr. Alaa Al-Kurdi, representative of the University’s Finance Department.
