Sana’a – The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Science and Technology (UST), in collaboration with the University’s Scientific Club, has concluded a series of free specialized training courses for high school students and university graduates. These courses were organized as part of UST’s initiatives to empower youth digitally and enhance their readiness for the technology-driven labor market.
The training programs targeted the most in-demand fields, including:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications in Study and Work: Practical applications of AI tools in research, writing, data analysis, and the automation of daily tasks.
  • Defensive Cybersecurity, Risk Management, and Incident Response: Core principles of protection, threat detection, and effective response strategies for cyber incidents.
  • Prompt Engineering and Intelligent Assistant Development: Techniques for crafting professional prompts, alongside developing chatbots and customized smart assistants.
  • Digital Editing for Films and Series: Skills in digital media production and post-production editing.

The Faculty emphasized that offering these courses free of charge reflects the University’s commitment to its social responsibility and its dedication to preparing national talents capable of competing in modern technological fields and supporting digital transformation initiatives.
Through its faculties and Scientific Club, UST continues to launch high-quality training programs aimed at equipping young people with practical skills, opening new horizons in both education and employment.
