Sana’a – The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Science and Technology (UST), in collaboration with the Scientific Club and the University’s Centers Administration, organized a free training course titled “Fundamentals of Practical Anatomy.” The course is part of its programs aimed at qualifying and preparing high school graduates by developing their foundational knowledge in medical sciences and equipping them for university studies in health-related disciplines.

The course aims to provide participants with essential concepts in anatomy, introduce them to anatomical terminology, and familiarize them with the classification of human body systems. It also covers the main organs of various body systems, including the skeletal, muscular, nervous, digestive, and cardiopulmonary systems.
The course is delivered by Dr. Jalal Dashila and includes practical training in the anatomy laboratories of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, using educational models. This approach enables participants to gain both theoretical and applied understanding of the scientific content and helps consolidate fundamental anatomical concepts.
The course runs for a duration of four to six days, with two hours of training per day, and is held in the anatomy laboratories at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
The course targets high school graduates and students intending to enroll in medical colleges, as well as individuals seeking to build a solid scientific foundation prior to beginning their university studies, thereby enhancing their academic readiness and supporting their future paths in medical and health specialties.
