Sana’a – The Vice President of the University of Science and Technology (UST) in Sana’a, Prof. Nouman Al‑Najjar, together with the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Adnan Al‑Mutawakel, inaugurated the graduation project defenses of female students from the Architectural Engineering Department, in an academic atmosphere reflecting a high level of organization and strong attention to educational outcomes.
During the inauguration at the Female Students’ Branch, the Vice President of the University and the Dean of the College reviewed samples of the submitted projects, commending the students for the creativity and excellence demonstrated in their design ideas. They noted that the projects reflected an advanced academic level that combines modern approaches with consideration for the needs of the local environment.
The students presented their projects before a specialized academic committee comprising Prof. Ali Al‑Qozi, Head of the Architectural Engineering Department, Dr. Bilal Al‑Dhabhani, Dr. Munif Shams Al‑Din, and Dr. Abdulrahman Al‑Dailami. The projects were discussed and evaluated according to scientific principles and precise professional standards, reflecting the considerable efforts exerted by the students during the preparation period.
The discussions were also attended by the project supervision committee, chaired by Prof. Mohammed Salam Al‑Madhaji, with the participation of Eng. Aya Hamid Al‑Ashbat, who closely followed the various stages of project development and contributed to guiding the students and refining their scientific and practical skills.
At the conclusion of the inauguration, the Vice President of the University emphasized the University leadership’s commitment to supporting student creativity and enhancing the quality of educational outputs, in a manner that contributes to preparing qualified engineering cadres capable of meeting labor market requirements and contributing effectively to the development process.
