Sana’a – The College of Pharmacy at the University of Science and Technology (UST) held today an expanded meeting bringing together academic and administrative staff, chaired by the newly appointed Dean of the College, Dr. Abdullah Al‑Jamali. The meeting was held as part of efforts to enhance institutional integration and to discuss early preparations for the upcoming 1448 AH academic year.
The meeting addressed a number of academic and administrative issues, foremost among them the preparation plans for the next academic year, with the aim of improving the quality of the educational process and enhancing the efficiency of academic and administrative performance.
The meeting witnessed positive engagement from College staff, who extended their congratulations to the new Dean on the occasion of his appointment and affirmed their full support for his efforts to develop the College and strengthen its academic outcomes.
For his part, Dr. Abdullah Al‑Jamali expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the University leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the College, affirming his commitment to exerting every effort to advance the College’s performance and achieve its academic aspirations.
Dr. Al‑Jamali also conveyed his deep appreciation for the distinguished efforts made by the former Dean, Prof. Doaa Anwar Ibrahim Al‑Momen, during her tenure, which spanned more than ten years. He praised her contributions to establishing and strengthening the foundations of academic work at the College, while also commending the efforts of all academic and administrative staff and their pivotal role in the success of the educational process.
This meeting comes within the context of the College leadership’s keenness to promote a spirit of teamwork and to institutionalize collaborative work practices, in a manner that contributes to further development and the advancement of academic and administrative performance.
